§ IICommon Questions

No. We are a private capital company. Our work centers on investment management, fund and trust administration, fee-based advisory, and principal investing — not retail order-taking.

All advisory and planning engagements are billed as fees paid directly by the client, scoped in a written engagement letter before work begins. We do not earn commissions embedded in recommended products.

It means the firm buys and holds positions on its own balance sheet — mineral and oil royalties, tax liens, mortgages, and securities — rather than acting as agent or broker for a client's order.

Client assets under management or administration are segregated from firm capital and custodied through established channels, with regular statements and audit-ready records provided to clients and beneficiaries.

We coordinate with clients' tax and legal counsel but do not provide legal or tax opinions. Planning recommendations are framed to be reviewed with your professional advisers.
